You can remove individual links such as Documents, Pictures, Music etc.. by right clicking on each individual link and click "Remove Link". If you want to remove the entire Favorite links, the Explorer folder tree would also be sacrificed. Click Organize > click "Navigation Pane". -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

The general rule of thumb with the registry is this - if there's a way to do it in Windows without using the Registry, then don't use the Registry to do it ;o)

I'd also like to see this. I want the ability to either remove the favorite links bar or move it to the bottom. As a sysadmin, I usually need to navigate the folder structure, not go to pictures, my docs, etc. It's way too clunky now. I can see how the interface is good for the end user, but as an administrator, I need the option of having faster access to my folder structure.
